Challenge Your Friends.  Challenge Your Co-Workers.  Challenge YOURSELF!

On March 23, join team Buzzin’ Up The Stairs for the 2013 Fight for Air Climb benefiting the American Lung Association.

This year, the Fight for Air Climb will be held at One Oxford Center.  The climb consists of 45 floors, totaling 897 steps!  All participants climb the steps in 15 second intervals, and yes, you take the elevator back down!

Since this event benefits the American Lung Association, each participant is required to raise $100, which only goes to help fund disease prevention programs, research and awareness.   Not a stair climber?  You can still participate by donating to a friend or co-worker to assist in their efforts to reach their $100 goal.

If you are interested in joining team Buzzin’ Up The Stairs, or would like to start a team of your own, please visit the following link.  Additional information about registration and event day (price, times, packet pick-up, after climb celebration) can also be found on the website.

http://www.lung.org/pledge-events/pa/pittsburgh-climb-fy13/

We hope you will join us in the 2013 Fight for Air Climb!  See you on the stairs!

Seubert’s first soup kitchen fund raiser of 2013 brought in $323 to benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.  Several of our employees are also great cooks.  They donated 7 crock pots of homemade soup to be sold to our hungry workforce at lunchtime.  Yum!

Thanks to the generosity of Jojo Streyle, Brian Miller, Donna Rozniata, Connie Acker, Patty Schaffer and Shelly Johnston for our first successful fund raiser of the year.

Seubert sponsored the Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania's Summer Festival for the third year in a row, raising over $20,000 for SBAWP programs.  The event was bigger and better than ever.  As always, the headline was Midlife Crisis, featuring our own Brian Long.
