On Saturday, April 6, 2019 the Seubert Cares Committee wrapped up a Spring fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh (BBBSPGH). BBBSPGH is a youth mentoring agency serving children 6 to 18 from single parent families, low-income households, and underperforming schools.
Throughout March and April Seubert employees participated in a variety of fun activities to raise money for BBBSPGH – from Jean Days, Sweet Treat Fridays, and throwing wet sponges at our management team, we sure had a lot of good laughs for a great cause.
Seubert’s goal for BBBSPGH was to raise $4,200 by the April 6th Bowl For Kids’ Sake event. In addition to our in house efforts, more than 20 employees volunteered to join a bowling team to represent Seubert at the Princess Lanes in Whitehall, PA and collected donations from friends and families to sponsor them in BBBSPGH’s annual bowl-a-thon event.
We truly appreciate all the money, effort, and time donated by our employees. As an agency, we were able exceed our goal, and raised $6,171 for BBBSPGH and their efforts to make mentor children in Allegheny, Washington and Greene Counties.
Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts, we are so proud of our team!
