The Countdown is On!

With just 30 days left until the Seubert Struttin’ Our Stuffin’ Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning at North Park, now is the perfect time to get involved. All proceeds from the trot benefit Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. (SCFF), an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Pittsburgh community—and beyond.

1. Register to Participate

Start your Thanksgiving holiday weekend with a good deed and a great workout! Did you know that 100% of registration goes directly to SCFF? Whether you walk, jog, or run, your participation helps fund their mission to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses.

Since 1993, SCFF has provided safe, nurturing housing—a critical foundation for recovery. Without stable housing, many individuals find themselves trapped in cycles of homelessness, jails, shelters, or hospitals. A safe place to live offers the stability needed to achieve personal goals and build a brighter future.

Gather your friends, family, and neighbors, and register today to make a difference! We offer in-person and remote options.

2. Volunteer at the Event

Volunteering is a great way to give back—even if you don’t want to trot around North Park. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly. From setting up the course and managing registration to handing out water and cheering on participants, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Volunteering not only helps with logistics but also fosters the community spirit that makes this event so special. Whether you’re greeting participants, managing the finish line, or offering encouragement along the course, your efforts directly contribute to the event’s success—and support SCFF’s mission.
